Criminal Appeal Decisions - May 2015

Commonwealth v. Tarjick (AC 13-P-932) (May 18, 2015) - SUMMARY: The defendant appealed his conviction on the basis that the lower court erred in denying his "motion to suppress the contents of a memory card removed from" a digital camera, and also challenged the admission of certain evidence during trial. The Appeals Court affirmed the conviction but noted that the appeal "involves the interplay between twenty-first century technology and twentieth century search and seizure principles."
